I frequent a lot of West Indian restaurants on a regular basis and this one has pretty delicious cuisine. Their fried rice and lo mein is very authentic and flavorful. From the time you pop the lid, you immediately see the great the texture of the meats and rice are. The vegetable and egg they use is very fresh and gives the food a unique flavor. Based on my knowledge of what family and others have said, the food served here resembles that of a Guyanese style so by eating here will bring back memories of when you were back home. I personally have never visited Guyana so I have no ideas what the food there tastes like but people I know have told me it's really good and that this restaurant makes the fried rice and lo mein just like when they had it back home. I haven't had their curries or other dishes aside from their fried rice and lo mein but if I had to guess, I would say the quality and freshness of them are outstanding as well. I agree that there are West Indian restaurants all over queens, especially at this location and runs along liberty avenue but the question you need to ask yourself is if you really want to eat at just any of them, or you want to eat at one that has quality and outstanding food like this establishment has. Definitely give them a try and you will see for yourself how amazing their food is.

Fast service. Clean environment and fresh and tasty food. Definitely get what you pay for. Hearty portions.

Was very pleased on my recent visit. Ordered their fried rice along with some fried shrimp and both were exceptionally good. I think they just got a new cook as well as new management and they are doing a fine job. The food was amazing. Definitely going to be my to go place from now on ! Update* tried the BBQ chicken today and it was mighty fine

This place has new management and I'm so happy that things are changing. The food is well worth the money I split it with my boyfriend and we never finish it, the menu has a whole bunch of options more than a lot of Guyanese Chinese places I've been to. Owners daughter is really sweet she gave me a free drink. She also seems like she doesn't play about the upkeep which is great. The bathrooms are way better now. The cook was really sweet also, ran into him once and he seemed warm and friendly. He actually lived in the West Indies and you can taste it in the food not like some other places I visited before. If you like pepper make sure to try their pepper sauce, that thing will put some hairs on ya back. Try it with the jerk if you wanna loose a tongue haha! will be going back, my new favorite spot. 5 stars!

I always order from here. The food is really good & I usually get it within 15 minutes. I'm not gonna lie one time I ordered and there was a piece of dirty rag in my food. I was shook ! That was pretty nasty. The girls who work here don't have the best attitudes but the food is sold at a great price and you get a lot of food!
